I offer private and guided tours to many of the places written about in this blog. My tours focus on exploring off the beaten path destinations in a sustainable, culturally competent way. I provide expertise and skills on the ground in these destinations through regular visits and with the help of local people I’ve met on the road over the years. I strive to give my clients as authentic of an experience as possible – I never travel with groups larger than eight participants, and tailor my tours to fit the needs and interests of each member of the group.

Custom tours allow for greater flexibility and tailoring to your specific interests in a region. From architecture, to flea markets, to obscure art galleries and public art, I can help design a tour catering to your exact specifications. Starting in Spring 2023, I will be launching three group tours, with a maximum of eight participants each. The tentative dates and locations for these tours are:
20 February-4 March: Guyana, Suriname, and French Guiana
23 April-6 May: Algeria
7-15 May: Mauritania
